"Hi, I'm Taylor, the Founder of Ellie & Fir.

Dogs have a special way of making life better. Helping them live happy, enriched lives and building relationships with both dogs and their owners is what drives my mission behind Ellie & Fir.
​
Prior to starting Ellie & Fir, I built my career in academia, scientific research and publishing, and achieved a PhD in Cancer Immunology.Â

While my professional background may seem very different from the world of dogs, it has given me a strong foundation in responsibility, attention to detail, and communication. I aim to build a trusted local business and community where dogs and their owners feel welcome.Â

Ellie is my 2-year old Golden Retriever, and the genuine light of my life.

She never stops smiling, always knows when I need a hug, and loves everyone and every dog. She is my inspiration behind Ellie & Fir, and I hope to bring her warmth and kindness to all aspects of the business."
