We provide professional dog walking, sitting, and drop in-services in Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas. We also aim to create opportunities for owners to connect through community events, networking, and social activities.

Our Story

Ellie & Fir was born from the belief that dogs deserve a life full of companionship, enrichment, and belonging – and their humans do too.

We wanted to create a place where dogs feel genuinely understood and comfortable, while their owners can build connections with others who share the same love of dogs and the great outdoors.

The name Ellie & Fir brings together two things at the heart of our story: Ellie, our much-loved golden retriever and the inspiration behind what we do, and the fir trees that have become a familiar part of our favourite woodland adventures.

Our mission is to provide trusted, personalised care that gives every dog the attention, compassion, and enrichment they deserve.

We are committed to building lasting relationships with dogs and their owners through exceptional care, genuine companionship, and access to a community of likeminded owners and other independent dog businesses.

Our dog care services go beyond a run in the park.

We believe dogs need opportunities to explore, sniff, play, and learn. Whether that’s discovering woodland trails, enjoying a slower sniff-filled walk, or playing with friends – we tailor each service to your dog, so they come home feeling supported and fulfilled.
